How to Download Instagram Reels on PC

  1. Copy the link

    On instagram.com, open the post, click ⋯ (More), then Copy link. You can also copy the address from the address bar.

  2. Paste it here

    Click the box above, press Ctrl + V, then press Enter or click Download.

  3. Pick a quality

    Click the MP4 size you want. Your browser shows the file in its downloads panel.

  4. Open the file

    Press Ctrl + J to see your downloads, or open File Explorer and go to Downloads.

Tips

  • To choose a folder, right-click a quality button and pick Save link as.
  • MP3 audio saves the sound only, which is handy for podcasts and music clips.
  • For carousels, each photo and video in the post gets its own download button.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Avoid sites that ask you to install an extension or a program to download.

Where does Windows save the video?

In your Downloads folder, unless you changed it in your browser settings. Press Ctrl + J to open the list of downloads.
